  • 1 pack Levitts Montreal smoked meat chunk (500 g)
  • 5 ml vegetable oil or butter
  • 1 hot dog bun
  • 15 ml yellow mustard, or more if desired
  • 60 ml homemade or commercial coleslaw

Preparation

  • Step 1
    Open the pack of meat and slice it thick (a portion equals about 1/5 of the chunk). Refrigerate the rest of the meat.
  • Step 2
    In a non-stick pan, heat the oil or butter over medium heat and place the slice of smoked meat. Cook for about 5 minutes, flipping once or twice during cooking.
  • Step 3
    When the meat is ready, warm the hot dog bun in the oven or a toaster.
  • Step 4
    Assemble the hot dog with the hot meat, mustard and the coleslaw.
  • Step 5
    Eat immediately, before it gets stolen!
