Ingredients
 

  • 500 g of raw pizza dough (or 2 individual pizza doughs or 2 flatbreads or pitas)
  • 125 ml of pizza sauce (commercial or homemade)
  • 100 g of fresh mozzarella cheese (or bocconcini), sliced (or regular mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced or grated)
  • 1 italian tomato, thinly sliced
  • ½ red onion, minced and cooked at low heat in olive oil for 6-8 minutes
  • 125 g (1 pouch) of Levitts Montreal smoked meat
  • A few fresh basil leaves

Preparation

  • Step 1
    Roll out the pizza dough to make 2 individual pizza and place dough on a baking sheet.
  • Step 2
    Separate the pizza sauce in half and spread evenly each half over each pizza dough (or on each flat bread or pita bread) making sure not to forget the edges.
  • Step 3
    Separate the toppings (cooked red onions, sliced tomatoes, cheese and smoked meat) and spread them over each pizza.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 450ºF (230ºC) for pizzas made with raw dough (425ºF (210ºC) for pizzas made with flat bread).
