  • 1 pack of 500 g of Levitts Montreal Smoked Meat
  • 8 slices of deli-style rye bread
  • 125 ml of yellow mustard
  • 4 dill pickles

Preparation

  • Step 1
    Put the 4 Levitts Montreal smoked meat pouches in a pan of boiling water and heat for about 8 to 10 minutes. Leave in hot water until ready to use.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile, warm slices of bread, if desired.
  • Step 3
    When the meat is ready, assemble the sandwiches by spreading yellow mustard on the bread, and using one pouch per sandwich. CAUTION when handling the meat, the content will be hot and there will be some meat juice.
  • Step 4
    Serve sandwiches cut in half, accompanied by sliced dill pickles and a little extra mustard, if desired.
