Pour about 2 inches of water into a medium pot. Bring to a simmer.

Place the Levitts Montreal-Style Smoked Meat Thinly Sliced meat into a steam basket or metal sieve and place over the simmering pot of water, ensuring the steam basket or sieve is not immersed in the water. Cover with the lid or foil. Steam for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and keep covered.
Step 3
Spread 2 teaspoons of the desired mustard onto each slice of rye bread. Uncover meat.
Step 4
Pile the warm smoked meat onto one slice of the mustard-covered rye bread. Top with the second slice.
Step 5
With a serrated bread knife or sharp chef’s knife, cut sandwich in half and serve with pickles.
